Seasonal Flowers, Locally Grown, Freshly Picked for You
Established in 2023 Shotley Flower Field aims to offer local people a more sustainable alternative to imported flowers. Situated eight miles south of Ipswich in an Area of Outstanding Beauty we grow and arrange a carefully curated selection of seasonal British flowers and foliage often not found in florist shops.
Our flowers are grown on around 300 linear metres of raised beds, and include a wide range of annuals, biennials, perennials, shrubs and bulbs. Everything is grown with care and attention, without pesticides, supporting local wildlife and the health of the soil.
Working with the seasons we provide flowers for every occasion on life’s journey – from christenings to funerals, and for all the moments in between. Simple bunches to say thank you, bouquets for celebrations and DIY buckets for those who like to arrange themselves. We also offer small group Pick Your Own experiences and seasonal workshops in the Flower Studio.
Welcome to Shotley Flower Field
Our main selling season is from mid March until the end of October, opening again for a couple of weeks in early December for Christmas Wreath workshops. Outside of these time please do feel free to contact me and I will help you if I can.

Flower Shop
At Shotley Flower Field our bunches, bouquets and buckets contain fresh, seasonal British flowers full of character. They are arranged in a loose, relaxed, garden-inspired style looking as though they’ve just been picked from the garden.
We offer jam jar posies, market bunches, bouquets, and buckets of loose stems for you to arrange at home.

Workshops & PYO
Workshops and PYO at Shotley Flower Field offer a boutique experience. Small friendly groups, on hand help and plenty of tea, coffee and cake in an Area of Outstanding Beauty make them the perfect way to while away a couple of hours. Wedding Flowers
At Shotley Flower Field, we grow and arrange naturally beautiful wedding flowers, inspired by the seasons and the English countryside around us.
We focus on seasonal varieties that bring a sense of place and time—characterful, scented, and full of movement. The look is relaxed, garden-grown, and quietly elegant.
Whether you’re planning something small and simple or something more elaborate, we can tailor the options to suit your budget.
Our farewell flowers are created with care, compassion, and attention to detail — each one a quiet tribute to a life lived and loved. Every arrangement is personal, shaped by the season and by the stories you share with us.
You’re welcome to visit the flower field if you’d like—walk with us, talk through your ideas, and choose the kinds of flowers that feel right. We’re also happy to include flowers or foliage from their own garden, making the tribute feel even more personal.
