Following on from the success of my Spring Workshops and PYO I am excited to announce my programme for Summer and Autumn 2026.
This year I will be running Pick Your Own Flowers, Pilates and PYO and a new Gather and Create Workshop where after picking your flowers you will have the opportunity to create a vase arrangement. All events include refreshments and are limited to 8 people per session. If, for PYO, you want to bring someone with you there is the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for tea / coffee and cake.
I also offer Gift Vouchers which can redeemed for a workshop or PYO session as well as bunches of flowers.
When booking any of these events please note the terms and conditions below. Full payment is seen as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
We try to run all events whatever the weather with refreshments being served under cover if wet or windy. In the event of severe weather however we may occasionally need to reschedule. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible.
Places are non refundable once booked. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place. If that is not possible we are happy to pick you a small bucket of flowers to the value of your booking which must be collected within 7 days of the event.
If for any reason we do have to cancel an event we do not offer refunds but will issue a Gift Voucher that can be redeemed for flowers, workshops and PYO.
The ground is uneven so please wear suitable footwear. The flower field is also situated on an exposed site so please bear this in mind and if in doubt bring extra layers.
We will supply you with scissors and buckets / baskets to use while picking flowers and will then wrap your flowers in brown paper at the end of the session. We would advise you to bring a bucket to transfer your flowers into afterwards.
As much as we love dogs we do not allow them on site with the exception of assistance dogs. Thank you for your understanding.
Places are limited so booking is essential.

Pick Your Own
£35.00
Join us in the beautiful Suffolk countryside for a Pick Your Own session at Shotley Flower Field. After a short introduction you will be given a bucket and snipsand invited to wander the flower field and cut up to 25 stems of your favourite stems to take home.
The price of the experience is £35 to include 25 stems, tea, coffee and cake.If you are coming with others who are not picking but would like refreshments there is a charge of £6pp. All tickets can be booked online.
Please note I hope to schedule more PIY dates. These will often be at short notice so please watch out on Instagram and Facebook for announcements.
Gather & Create: Vase Arrangement
This workshop will allow you not only to pick your own flowers but will also give you the opportunity to get creative making a vase arrangement.
We will start with a tour of the flower field showing you what is looking good and explaining how to pick and condition the individual flowers. You will then have the opportunity to wander though the field picking a bucket of flowers for your arrangement.
We will then break for tea / coffee and homemade cake allowing the flowers a short time to condition in the shade, after which time you will create your own stunning vase arrangement.
Groups are small and suitable for complete beginners. I will be available to answer any questions throughout the session.
Please note that vases are not included in the price of the workshop as attendees often wish to bring their favourite vase with them. If you do not have a vase I have a number of reasonably priced vases available to purchase on the day.
Pilates and PYO
Come and join us for an hour of Pilates with the wonderful Lucy Killner of Alton Balance followed by a PYO session where you will be free to wander the flower field to pick 25 stems of your choice. There will of course also be tea, coffee and cake.
Come on your own or with friends. This is a relaxed morning suitable for all levels.
Gift Voucher
Buy a gift card for someone and they can use it to buy flowers, attend a Pick Your Own event or a workshop. All flowers must be collected from Shotley Flower Field unless the recipient lives on the Shotley Peninsula where we deliver on a Friday.
